Obama has invoked executive privilege in an eleventh-hour effort to snatch Eric Holder’s butt out of the frying pan. Representative Darrell Issa is rightly pressing forward with a contempt vote against Holder who has repeatedly denied, delayed, and generally thumbed his nose at congressional requests regarding the “Fast and Furious” scandal. I personally was insulted by his assertion that this was all about the fact he’s black. Racism may indeed be alive and well in America today but, I think it’s a cop out to throw that card in this case. You are the Attorney General of the United States and you claim you have no knowledge of illegal, immoral, and incompetent operations happening under your watch. In my book that means you fall into one of two categories as head of the responsible organization; criminally complicit, or terminally incompetent…Pick one and hand in your resignation!

I agree 100% Gary. The fact of the matter is that either way, he (Holder) needs to resign. We need to get this administration out of office… unfortunately, our only choice is Mittens, who is not good for those of us who happen to exercise our right to defend ourselves.
Unfortunately, when it comes to firearms, both major parties would love nothing more than to find an excuse for more regulation which makes it tougher for law abiding citizens to legally own a gun. Simply put…. I do not trust a government that doesn’t trust me with a gun.
On an off topic note, thanks to you, Jason and Jeff for holding the intro to defensive pistol class last night. It was a lot of fun and very helpful. I learned a few things that I need to work on (mainly, it’s just practice practice, practice) and I was really sorry that we didn’t have more time.
It seems that there were a few folks that really needed a little more experience with a pistol than what they had which slowed us down a little.
At any rate, thank you again. It’s guys like you three that help make a difference in the gun owner community by promoting safety and technique while making it interesting and a lot of fun.
Hopefully you guys will do it again sometime.
