This just in…ATF says coffee, donuts, and police cars are a challenge to officer safety

No. The ATF didn’t really say coffee, donuts, or police cars are a threat to officer safety. But since we’re jumping the shark into the realm of hysteria…We may as well go whole hog. What else poses a danger to cops? Traffic? Yup. Interacting with the public? Pretty much. Let’s just ban it all!

  1. I posted this on my page. I blame this “nonsensical” thinking on parents, whether absent from the home, or present at home and yet absent from teaching their children what the term “risk” & “mitigation” are daily and mean as they go through life. In one week a parent can work a few minutes per day with their elementary school child to convey a basic understanding of risk, what it is, and what is acceptable or not. Perhaps, the next generation of lawmaker’s would have a more sensible understanding that sometimes life just squashes someone like a bug, and nothing can be solve it…
