“You think I’m anti-gun. I’m not. I think of guns like I do cars. Go ahead and own one. Waste your money on something fancy!
But the scenarios you are preparing for aren’t going to happen. You aren’t going to save the day by shooting a terrorist in the grocery store. We need fewer guns so fewer people shoot their feet off, kill their girlfriends, kill themselves, and go on shooting sprees”
He says he’s not anti-gun but, in his own words, he clearly laments the fact the right to keep and bear arms was ever written, “…Some dudes wrote the Second Amendment on piece of paper a while ago and we all have to live with the result of that.” Nope, doesn’t sound anti-gun at all. And he has a strange attachment to penises, measuring their sizes, and somehow relating that to gun ownership. I will not claim to have the biggest penis in the world but, I’m told it works abundantly well. Matt, my guns are primarily used for protection against guys who are obsessed with forcibly demonstrating that they have the bigger penis. In the ongoing battle between guns and penis-obsessed idiots, guns have never lost.

Sturm, Ruger & Company, Inc. (NYSE: RGR) is pleased to announce the new Ruger® SR-762™, bringing the .308 Win./7.62 NATO cartridge to the popular SR-556® family of rifles. The SR-762™ offers the downrange authority of the .308 cartridge in a two-stage, piston-driven rifle that runs cooler and cleaner than traditional gas-driven AR-style rifles.
The SR-762™ is an ideal rifle for those who appreciate the familiar and ergonomic AR-style platform. The .308 Win./7.62 NATO cartridge is perfect for hunting medium and most large-sized game and enhances the capability of the AR-style platform in defensive or tactical roles.
The SR-762™ retains the features of the original SR-556® that make it a solid performer among AR-style rifles. The patent-pending, two-stage piston delivers a smooth power stroke to the one-piece bolt carrier, which reduces felt recoil and improves the rifle’s durability. The four-position gas regulator allows the shooter to tune the rifle to function reliably with a broad variety of ammunition and in varying environmental conditions.
A heavy contour, 16.12″ chrome-lined, cold hammer forged barrel with a 1:10″ twist features exterior fluting to minimize weight, yet provides outstanding accuracy. With the Ruger® Lightweight Adaptable handguard in place, the SR-762™ weighs 8.6 pounds and balances comfortably.
Three 20-round MAGPUL® PMAG® magazines are provided with the SR-762™. Folding backup iron sights, a Hogue® Monogrip®, Picatinny rail sections and rail covers add considerable value to the package, as does the six-position stock, sight adjustment tool, and a soft-sided carry case.
The Ruger® SR-762™ has a suggested retail price of $2,195.
For more information on the new Ruger® SR-762™, or to learn about the extensive line of award-winning Ruger® firearms, visit Ruger.com or www.Facebook.com/Ruger. To find accessories for the Ruger® SR-762™, visit www.ShopRuger.com.

Video of Kenya Massacre:
The massacre at a Nairobi shopping mall in Kenya, Africa in September was
partially recorded on security video cameras. Several segments were
recently released.
Terrorists, armed with Kalishnikovs, are seen casually shooting hapless,
unarmed Christians and Jews. They are also seen rounding-up hostages, who
would all soon all be hideously tortured and murdered (including infants and
children), at the most nonchalant of paces. Terrorists obviously knew no
competent response would materialize for days. Unfortunately, they were
right!
In any such attack, terrorists are conspicuously confident they will have
it all to themselves for hours, probably days. Accordingly, when you’re
caught on the inside, don’t expect any “rescue” in the near term. You’re
on your own!
Unarmed Christians and Jews (is there another kind?) apparently make great
sport! Particularly when governments, there and here, do their level best
to insure we’re all “good little victims,” and thus constantly unarmed.
Those few of us who don’t drink that Koolaid plan on representing at least
an “inconvenience” to terrorists, but we’re a minority, and we are frowned
upon by liberal politicians (is there another kind, even among professing ”
Republicans?”)
The NFL’s response has been to insure no armed police ever attend NFL
games. “Security” of attendees is better addressed by minimum-wage, unarmed
gumshoes, wearing orange vests, we’re assured!
The exception is the State of Texas, where state law overrides NFL “rules.”
Gotta love TX; not many terrorist attacks there!
We’re going to see Kenya-style attacks over here. It’s probably a safe
bet, particularly in liberal enclaves, filled with unarmed VBCs. Ready or
not!
Liberal response will always be the same: Disarm all good and decent
people. Let’s not inconvenience terrorists. What’s a few Christians or Jews,
more or less?
“Champions of socialism call themselves ‘progressives,’ but they recommend
a system which is characterized by rigid resistance to every kind of
improvement.
They call themselves ‘Liberals,’ but they are intent upon abolishing
liberty.
They call themselves ‘Democrats,’ but they yearn for dictatorship.
They call themselves ‘revolutionaries,’ but they want to make the
government omnipotent.
They promise the blessings of the Garden of Eden, but they plan to
transform the world into a gigantic post office. Every man, but one, a subordinate
clerk in a bureau.
What an alluring utopia! What a noble cause to fight!”

Suspect poses as police officer in Fort Bend home invasion | khou.com Houston.
This was close to home. I don’t pretend to have all the answers but, don’t be afraid to call 911 or call your local agency directly if someone claiming to be a cop comes knocking on your door. If he’s claiming that it’s a warrant search, bear in mind that it is highly unlikely in this day an age that the warrant would be served by non-uniform officer or officers with no marked vehicle or uniformed officers in sight. It would be irresponsible for me to suggest any level of force be used against someone you reasonably believe is a police officer but, this incident seemed to have a lot of red flags that at the very least should have led this home owner to refuse entry, close his door, and call 911 BEFORE it became a home invasion.
