Many of you know that we’ve had a Facebook presence almost from the beginning at Gun Over Texas.  But, if you haven’t already seen it or heard about it already, we finally have our website up and running at gunsovertexasradio.com and we’re also on Twitter, @gunsovertexas!  Oh yeah, and we’re making podcasts available within 24hrs of airing. You can also listen in live from the KSEV radio website at KSEVradio.com.  The site is still new and growing.  Keep checking in with us for new articles, reviews, and gunsanity from the Brotherhood of the Spiral Tube!

Stories like this typically go unreported.  I’m not going to congratulate the media for actually doing their job because this is what they are supposed to do…Simply report the facts, without spinning it to meet an agenda.  That said, it is also a fact that Mr. Ricciutti is fortunate to live in a free state.  Had he lived in Washington, D.C., Chicago, or New York City, he’d likely be facing felony criminal charges for even owning the gun he used to defend himself and his wife.  As my father has often said however, it is better to be judged by twelve than carried by six.

…This is quite literally, one of HPD’s finest.  The department posted this photo on their blog and FB page along with the admonishments for all the men who failed to notice the puppy.  Yes, there’s a puppy in this photo, honest!   I just thought it was funny because I don’t think there’s a straight man alive who wouldn’t be happy to see this officer walk up to his window in a traffic stop.
